Dutch Classical Talent

The unusual combination of Sebastiaan Kemner on trombone & Andrea Vasi on piano really impressed the jury of Dutch Classical Talent. The combination of these two instruments demands not only new repertoire, but arrangements and reinterpretations. Theo Verbey was approached by these young performers to write a new work especially for them. In addition, he arranged a number of Ballades by Guillaume de Machaut to be played on renaissance trombone and portative organ. The program will also include works for solo piano, as well as trombone with electronics. This concert is sure to surprise and delight a wide range of listeners.
