String orchestra, string quartet and clarinet merge to form a unique sound experience. In Theo Verbey's "Schaduw," commissioned by Amsterdam Sinfonietta in 2002, the string orchestra plays a game of questions and answers with Quatuor Danel.
Amsterdam Sinfonietta also pulls out all the stops in Britten's "Variations on a theme of Frank Bridge," a virtuoso sonic playground.
